History
Outline Permission under application S/13/1524 was granted by Swindon Borough Council on the 28th Feb 2014, part of a wider southern town expansion of the area which includes up to 4,500 homes, as well as employment, commercial and shopping areas, schools, public open space and a park and ride. The site is undeveloped agricultural farmland. Phase 0 parcel 1 (pictured) is situated south of the Waitrose supermarket off of Mill Lane and north of the M4 corridor. Parcels 2 & 3 in Phase 0 shall be located north of the supermarket. Phase 0 parcel 1 is currently undergoing construction, and units are being sold on the open market.

Reserved Matters application S/RES/18/1844 was approved on 16th april 2019 for 109 dwellings. Access into the development will come from Mill Lane. The proposed development proposes a range of dwelling types and sizes, including 14% affordable homes and 2% wheelchair accessible dwellings.
The Reserved Matters planning application for the next phase of the development shall be submitted to the council soon, and the new plans shall appear here.
On parcel 1 we are progressing with the detailed design of a Corton Steel Laser Cut panelling depicting a Heron, which is to be erected in the parking courtyards between the four storey apartments. The images opposite show the proposals and where the panels will be situated.

In short, very close! Waitrose is situated next to parcel 1 in Phase 0, with the beautifully designed Hall & Woodhouse bar and restaurant just across the canal. Swindon town centre is a ten minute drive away.
Access to junction 16 on the M4 is just a five minute drive away. Swindon train station is less than three miles away, located in the centre of town.
